This bamboo fiber coaster set is great and exactly what I wanted. There are little rims around the top of the coaster allowing a decent grip on your cup bottoms and also giving an added liquid spill holder if your drink sweats water or a small pill occur over the side, the coaster can catch it and protect your counters or tables. 
They are very lightweight feel like a durable plastic or melamine dishware. The color I neutral and the coaster set stacks nicely too for easier storage. I am not disappointed in the least bit, these were exactly everything I wanted and I am very happy with this purchase.
