Dollar Challenge-

End the year with $1,378! That’s enough to put a deposit down on a car and then some. Personally I think that towards the later it gets expensive, and I’m not comfortable paying that much. So what I do is take that end total and divide it up by paycheck we receive per year (24) (we get a check twice a month.) It comes out to just over $57, so I round up. Every payday I put $60 in my savings account, and it doesn’t hurt us too badly since that was “play money” anyways. I’ll be ending the year with $1,440 with this method (enough for $1000 to stay in my emergency fund and to give us a great Christmas.
